As names can be of any length up to 67 characters you don't have to compromise and choose some shortened version with no connection to the real message you wish to convey. Remember to keep it short which means you should always consider a .biz domain name which are highly valuable.

For example - bpap.com - when what you really want is - BillsPaintingAndPlastering.com

It is suggested that shorter domain names are easier to remember, easier to type and less likely for people to make mistakes with.

However, a longer domain name may be easier to remember as it allows the extra words to capture the desired information better. Long names that have your keywords in them also will have the advantage of catching more attention from a number of search engines. Obviously, as it will contain more relevant keywords.

The longer the domain name though the more likely it will be that someone will miss-type it. You may register as many domains as you want and in fact this can be to your benefit.
